Our mission is to help companies and communities to acquire skills, knowledge, confidence and resources to lead local action and achieve constructive and positive change.

For TWP and all contracted Partners, change must include:

• Increasing levels of action by people in their communities, either through direct involvement in community groups or by providing support for such groups.
• Increasing levels of involvement in governmental and corporate policy debates and decision-making.
• People aware of their rights and equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence to advocate for those rights.
• Public authorities and companies creating opportunities for people to engage in constructive dialogue with them, ensuring accountability for public and corporate actions.
• Community groups co-operating and networking to build solidarity and share learning, and to influence policy and practice both among themselves and externally.
• All people having secured their rights to have basic needs met.
